on my cutting table ~

and ironing board ~

folded poncho
pattern Churchmouse
Rowan felted tweed

Blocking my poncho on my ironing board. Since I finished projects a year at a time no need to invest in an expensive blocking board. And the weather here is just right. Not quite a Santa Ana but dry enough for fast drying. It is the perfect weather to wear.
And the Sunshine Pineapple quilt is coming along. All 9 panels are ironed, 210 strips cut and half-square triangles assembled. But first comes the stitching around all those leaves and each pineapple.
Good thing this is not for Christmas.

Knitting away....

Mara Shawl

Stella Hat
Folded Poncho
Stella Hat finished
Mara Shawl is slowly approaching 23" folded in half. I will soon be able to begin the edging. I am so excited.

I finished the Stella hat using Manos Maxima and realized that I was running out of yarn so I quickly began knitting K1 K2 tog. It looks and seems abrupt but very cute on. Next time I will knit it up in one of Madelinetosh's yummy yarns.

Stitched up another muslin over the weekend. The Summer Weekend Dress found in Stitch Magazine. DD's #2 & 3 tried on the muslin and were unimpressed. 'Too much white' was the response. Well I did make it our of an old sheet sillys. Now to find fabric that they will enjoy. Probably need their approval.

What's next?
Probably another knitting project, gardening, bread and other yummy things

Enjoy the beginning of Spring
