Probably our favorite hike. It has everything crazy adventurers could ever want. Rain, sunshine, tropical rain forest, mud, potholes and a glorious hike to a waterfall. We packed a lunch and enjoy every green moment. You might recognize this area because many scenes from Jurassic Park were filmed here. I was waiting for a dinosaur to come out at any minute. Make sure you have a jeep or 4 wheel drive....Claire named this un-maintained road, 'bumpy roads' when she was younger. Bumpy doesn't even begin to describe it. We all thought that today was a cross between the Indiana Jones ride and Jungle Cruise.
Tomorrow is another day....perhaps I can beg to go to Kapaia Stitchery?
