Off the needles

I was intending for these gloves to be a Christmas present. They are Churchmouse fingerless welted gloves knitted in Manos silk wool purchased from The Purl Bee, love their site. The first gloves took me a while because I am still figuring out the different techniques. I did begin them the first week of December but time flies, projects come up and celebrations must occur. I like how they turned out...they are matching gloves for matching girls, and darling daughters #2 & 3 need them for the early mornings.
I had them pose to spell out LOVE...we were laughing the whole time...it seemed like a simple thing

Currently on my needles is Churchmouse's easy folded poncho in Rowan felted tweed. A yummy plummy color purchased from Jimmy Beans wool. And....just received Madelinetosh Tosh DK in rose for the Mara Shawl last evening in the mail. Fun projects for me to knit and to wear.... maybe.

My darlings have their eyes on what I am making....we will share
Enjoy the day with someone you LOVE!
